After an edition and a half of silence, on the subject, White Wolf finally published these exposes on the personality and powers of the Celestial Incarnae as a bundled set of PDFs. Now, they've made those same books available in print.The Incarnae have gotten a bad rap in the past, being perceived as celestial junkies and worthless patrons not worthy of their Chosen. Glories works to rehabilitate that image, presenting a pantheon of gods who are flawed but still worthy of respect and veneration, even to a mighty Celestial Exalt. New writer John Mørke contributes the prose descriptions of the Unconquered Sun, Luna, and the Five Maidens, and knocks his debut appearance out of the park. Old hand Michael Goodwin has given each Incarnae a full set of stats, making each of them powerful but not overpowering. (The Sun, especially, is a mechanical masterpiece, who is perfect and invincible- so long as he lives up to his own standards.) Recent addition Holden Shearer has produced new Charms for the Exalted of all these gods, including several new martial arts styles. These and a few other assorted goodies round out an excellent supplement that marks a dividing line between the last few disappointing years of Exalted and the rejuvenated line that followed it.
